George, All, Thank you for your comments on my presentation. Sorry for my confusion surrounding the ISO/IEC reference TR for 10GBASE-T. Regarding the info on slide 5: “Published: - TR 11801-9901 ed1, - Balanced cabling in support of at least 40 Gbit/s data transmission”.
This ISO/IEC reference TR is correct. The actual title is: ISO/IEC TR 11801-9901:2014 ED1 Information technology - Generic cabling for customer premises - Part 9901: Guidance for balanced cabling in support of at least 40 Gbit/s data transmission I incorrectly stated this reference, saying that “TR 11801-9901 is the ISO/IEC reference TR for 10GBASE-T”. The correct ISO/IEC reference TR for 10GBASE-T is: ISO/IEC TR 24750:2007 ED1 Information technology - Assessment and mitigation of installed balanced cabling channels in order to support 10GBASE-T.
