Dear Colleagues,
The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3ch Multi-Gig Automotive Ethernet PHY closed successfully on 22nd June 2019. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The July 2019 IEEE P802.3ch Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 284 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3ch Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:
235 Voters
86 Approve
13 Disapprove
20 Abstain
119 Ballots returned
50.64% Response Rate (> 50% required)
16.81% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
86.87% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
