Dear Colleagues,
The 1st Standards Association recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3ct 100 Gb/s over DWDM systems closed successfully on 30th January 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The upcoming IEEE P802.3ct Task Force teleconference meetings <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 94 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3ct Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:

80 Approve
8 Disapprove
3 Abstain
91 Ballots returned
88% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
3% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
90% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
