[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Maintenance #16 (Revision) 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Revision IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Maintenance #16 (Revision) closed successfully on 30th October 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The July 2021 IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Task Force plenary session meeting <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 15 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE 802.3 Maintenance reflector.

An additional 3 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.


The ballot statistics are:

 225 Voters
 153 Approve
   4 Disapprove 
  18 Abstain
 175 Ballots returned

  77% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  10% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
