[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3cx Improved PTP Timestamping Accuracy initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3cx Improved PTP Timestamping Accuracy closed successfully on 5th November 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The November 2021 IEEE P802.3cx Task Force plenary session meeting started consideration of the 143 comments submitted, and consideration of the comments will continue at the next IEEE P802.3cx Task Force on 24 November 2021 <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html>. The availability of the comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3cx Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 225 Voters
 102 Approve
  11 Disapprove
  22 Abstain
 135 Ballots returned

  58% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  14% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  90% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
