[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3dd Power over Data Lines of Single Pair Ethernet (Maintenance #17) 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3dd Power over Data Lines of Single Pair Ethernet (Maintenance #17) closed successfully on 15 December 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2022 IEEE P802.3dd Task Force interim meeting on Tuesday 11 January 2022 <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 5 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3dd Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 225 Voters
 127 Approve
   0 Disapprove 
  26 Abstain
 153 Ballots returned

  68% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  16% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 100% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
