[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3ck 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Electrical Interfaces initial Standards Association ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial Standards Association ballot of the amendment IEEE P802.3ck 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Electrical Interfaces closed successfully on 9th January 2022. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2022 IEEE P802.3ck Task Force interim meetings <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 238 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3ck Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 118 Voters
  87 Approve
  12 Disapprove 
   1 Abstain
 100 Ballots returned

  84% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   1% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  87% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
