[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3df 400 Gb/s and 800 Gb/s Ethernet 1st Standards Association recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st Standards Association recirculation ballot of the amendment IEEE P802.3df 400 Gb/s and 800 Gb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 28th October 2023. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The November 2023 joint IEEE P802.3cw/df/dj Task Force plenary week meetings <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 40 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has already been announced on the IEEE P802.3df Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 125 Voters
  95 Approve
   2 Disapprove 
   2 Abstain
  99 Ballots returned

  79% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   2% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
