Joe, sorry I couldn't the call due to a conflict (weekly). I would like to make a suggestion to build consensus on the following "consensus challenge items".
There are dependencies among the items and they are of different nature - some items are features (capabilities required by the MSOs to offer a specific service), some are necessary standard changes required to support certain features, and some are performance.
For example, below are some of the dependencies:
3)/7)/10)/13) (OFDMA for upstream) è 6/8/14/15
With such dependencies, we should understand what features are in scope for EPOC TF - in particular, 3), 7), 10), 17. Before these are settled, other items such as 6, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, will be just moving targets.

8) PHY link (discovery and startup)
9) Complexity of HW scaling with bandwidth:
10) TDD
11) Coding efficiency: gain vs. cost
12) Synch in terms of time/frequency
13) OFDM Numerology/FFT size/symbol size/CP size
14) Framing structure
15) MAC layer efficiency
16) PHY efficiency
17) Energy efficiency
