Please also remove the schedule information and other product details,
optionally rewriting as generic technology information.

One of the members of your study group informed me of the restriction
concerning cost. I have already modified the presentation to put the
cost into relative terms of X, and fractions of X.
I am not pitching a particular product, rather I want to try to make
sure that the standards committee does not exclude edge-emitting PICs
from the very short reach spans.
I hope the modified presentation will be acceptable.

I have requested that your email be deleted from the reflector. While
it largely is good information for presentation, in some cases it
crosses the line into a product pitch as well as including what seems to
me discussion about product prices (even though listed as costs).
Therefore, it is unacceptable in current form for both posting to the
reflector and for presentation at an IEEE standards development meeting
Chair, IEEE 802.3
Mr. John D'Ambrosia
On behalf of CyOptics I would like to participate in the IEEE HSSG
meeting on January 17 - 19. I have attached a set of slides that I would
like to present. I would also like to participate in any of the
sub-group teleconferences that you suggest CyOptics might add value
through our experience with components. If one of your requirements is
membership in IEEE I am an IEEE Lifetime Fellow.
