Mike

Thanks. With that change, I vote approve.

James,

I can confirm that 0063 and 0064 are as approved in 802.18.

The versions embedded in 0067r1 are as furnished when 802.18 asked for a draft cover letter. Since the titles were the same it was presumed when I posted 0067 (originally) that these were the same as 0063 and 0064. I will remove the two embedded documents and replace them with 0063 and 0064.

Good catch.

Regards,

Mike

Can you simply verify that 0063-00 and 0064-00 are what are actually attached in the document? When I open the attachments, I get documents different from them.

You pointed out in your original email that 0063-00 and 0064-00 we the ones jointly generated by 802.11 and 802.15 and approved 5/0/1 in 801.18.

So, I agree that 0063-00 and 0064-00 should be attached, however, when I open them, I get different documents.

Please verify that the correct documents are attached.

James,

May I defer to the 802.15 chair to repond? He was present when and voted when this was approved.

I vote disapprove

The attachments in your document do not appear to be the latest
documents. In particular, the information for 802.15.3c is missing from
  one of the documents.

The approved documents approved by 802.15 were 18-10-0063-00 and
18-10-0064-00.

I assume this is an oversight that you can correct quickly.

Dear EC,

I'm sorry if things became confused with my earlier email.

I have been authorized by the LMSC Chair to conduct an electronic
ballot on the following motion:

Motion: "Per LMSC operations manual 9.2.1, to approve forwarding of
document 18-10-0067-01 to ITU-R WP5A as the position of IEEE 802
LMSC."

Mover: Mike Lynch

Second: Bruce Kraemer

Due to the urgency of the decision, the early close provision of
4.1.2.2 will apply. This material needs to be received by the ITU-R
by 16:00 Geneva time on 1st November. I propose that the ballot start
date is 26th October. It is hoped that sufficient positive ballots
will be received to allow for the early termination and submission to
ITU-R.

There was some discussion on the earlier thread about using terms
such as "IEEE looks forward...". IEEE is the ITU-R Sector Member and
is who the ITU-R corresponds with rather than IEEE 802.. The use of
the Sector Member's name is appropriate.

Doc. 18-10-0067-01 is available on the 802.18 Mentor web site.

Mike
