Re: [802SEC] +++ 10-day EC Email Ballot +++ NetFPGA tutorial

In respect to the NetFPGA tutorial EC ballot, the ballot closed on Friday 17th June, 11:59PM AOE. The results are as follows. Based on this result I will [1] provide as feedback the comment I received from Apurva (see below) and [2] complete the tutorial request form.

Comment to be supplied to NetFPGA: 'Is it possible to make this tutorial more generic on the lines of 'Rapid Prototyping of 802 Technologies.''.

Thanks and best regards,

Subject: +++ 10-day EC Email Ballot +++ NetFPGA tutorial

Dear EC members,

As discussed on the EC conference call, as well as the email chain <>, the NetFPGA team would like to offer a NetFPGA tutorial at the IEEE plenary in San Francisco. Based on this Paul has delegated the conduct of the EC electronic ballot on the following motion to me. To ensure this is decided as soon as practical I am announcing the possibility of an 'early close' to this ballot (see below).

Best regards,

The EC supports including a NetFPGA tutorial at the July IEEE 802 plenary meeting.

Move: David Law
Second: Geoff Thompson

Start of ballot: Tuesday 7th June
Close of ballot: Friday 17th June, 11:59PM AOE

Early close: As required in subclause 'Electronic Balloting' of the IEEE project 802 LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC) Operations Manual, this is notice that, to ensure the release is provided in a timely manner, this ballot may close early once sufficient responses are received to clearly decide a matter.

This email is sent from the 802 Executive Committee email reflector. This list is maintained by Listserv.
