Re: [STDS-802-11-CAC] Updated closing report and TG Recirculation motion

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Chairs' Advisory Committee Reflector ---

Thank you Dorothy,

Discussing with the editors, their estimate is that D4.0 will take 3 weeks to generate, which puts us around mid Aug. for ballot opening, if that makes sense.

Best,

Jonathan

Hello Jonathan,

Acknowledged. We'll have the WG motion tomorrow. As soon as D4.0 is available, I'll start the WG recirculation ballot.

Let me know when to expect the draft.

Preparation for SA ballot: I have initiated the request for P802.11az SA Ballot pool formation. SA ballot pool formation takes 30 days and the pool, once formed,
is valid for 6 months. So we should be good on timing.

Thanks,

Dorothy

Hi Dorothy,

Attached an update to the TGaz closing report, please incorporate in the closing TG report slidedeck.

The TG passed the below motion result below, I’d like to request adding the appropriate WG motion to approve the re-circulation ballot.

Motion (202107-34):

•             Having approved comment resolutions for all of the comments received from LB253 on TGaz D3.0 as contained in document 11-21-0258r8,

•             Instruct the editor to prepare Draft D4.0 incorporating these resolutions and,

•             Approve a 15 day Working Group Recirculation Ballot asking the question “Should TGaz D4.0 be forwarded to SA Ballot?”

Moved: Assaf Kasher

Second: Roy Want

Results (Y/N/A): 19/0/6

Motion passes

Also as I’m trying to asses SA ballot readiness, and just bring back up the preparation for SA ballot (poll creation and such) past the recirculation on D4.0.
