Re: [STDS-802-11-CAC] Motions for the Friday Closing Plenary

Thank you Mark. WIll add the Liaison response to WBA to the Friday agenda.

Please note that all liaisons are from WG11 (not TGs).

Stephen/Dorothy,

The intention from TGbh was to have a brief and high-level liaison response to WBA, however, it seems the homework to have that ready for approval in today’s meeting didn’t get done/got misunderstood.  So, I plan to bring a personal motion, tomorrow, instead, with a suggested liaison letter from WG11 to WBA.

FYI, the gist of the letter is to let them know that our D1.0 is available in the IEEE Store (assuming the WG approves that on Friday), and that we are working on the details of how the material in our draft relates to the various liaisons and use cases/scenarios they have sent us but that this will take some time (probably get back to them in September), along with inviting them to review the draft and help formulate/provide input on how well we are mapping to/solving their use cases.  It will be fairly informal, and high-level.

@Stephen McCann: Thanks for your help with the format of a motion for such a liaison.  Please leave a slot for a personal motion from me, per above.

Thanks.  Mark

Dorothy,

I've enclosed my first cut at all the motions for the closing plenary and the EC. There are various numbers and details that I need to finish. In addition to your list, I also have a motion from TGbh liaising 11bh D1.0 to the WBA.

Kind regards

Stephen
