[STDS-802-11-CAC] Monday 2024-03-04 CAC teleconference agenda

The draft agenda for the Monday 2024-03-04 CAC teleconference is below.
Please respond to this email with any further agenda requests.

I have asked Robert Stacey to chair this CAC meeting, as (assuming flights are as planned) I will be
on a plane, returning from the India IEEE Board of Governors meetings.

2024-03-04 802.11 CAC-2 for March 2024 Mixed Mode Session (Denver)

      

  1. Attendance
  2. Announcement – Congratulations, IEEE Std 802.11bc-2023 and IEEE Std 802.11-2020 COR2-2024 are now published. Email with download info was sent out, https://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/11/email/stds-802-11/msg08001.html . Note that both amendments are included in a single pdf. Please download your copy if you have not already done so. Congratulations and thanks especially to Mark Emmelmann and all of the TGbc officers and members. And to Robert and the editors for the COR2.

  4. March 2024
    1. Registration totals so far for March - Jon
    2. Venue is the Hyatt Denver Convention Center. Registration is open.
    3. Tool training session (short) planned for Sunday at 1:30pm. Will use the Scarlet box connections as in the past.
    4. Review agenda graphic for any updates, and agenda requests
    5. Please include Robert’s registration reminder slide in your agenda deck.
    6. Snapshot slides are due to Robert before the March 10th CAC meeting.
    7. Ongoing ballot status –
      1. LB283 for P802.11bh D3.0 close, passed
      2. SA ballot for P802.11REVme D5.0 closes March 5th (7AM Eastern on the 6th)

    8. March 2024 motions
      1. Possible P802.11bh D 4.0 recirculation/ SA Ballot to LMSC.
      2. Possible P802.11bf D 4.0 recirculation and conditional to SA ballot
      3. Updates to PAR/CSD for AMP 802.11bp – Midweek and closing possible
      4. PAR modification for P802.11bf - Midweek and closing possible
      5. Potential WG Confirmation of AIML Standing Committee
  5.  May 2024 Interim in Warsaw – Registration is open

    4. During the Weds social, preview presentation of the IEEE 802 Milestone plaque.
    5. University/student outreach will be held Tuesday (one day).

    1. IEEE-SA myProject tool request: Add a calendar reminder to ballot pool notifications of SA ballot open – Request initiated.
    2. Check TGbb mailed award status with IEEE staff – still open
