Thanks for the follow up on this.

As you may have noticed in the past as well, it is very difficult to find slots that work for everybody, since our task group members are located everywhere around the globe.

Hence, to get some feedback from the MAC ad-hoc group in this regards, an item was added to discuss with the group these teleconference schedules.

During the discussion of that item, lots of useful feedback was received and was incorporated in the announcement of these additional teleconferences.

Among the two options that we discussed (Wednesdays 10:00am ET, and Friday 10:00am ET) there was a suggestion to not schedule the calls on Friday since it falls during the weekend in Asia, which was accounted for.

Hence, the selection was narrowed down on the Wednesday 10:00am schedule, for which there was no concern expressed during the call, and as such adopted for the subsequent teleconference calls announcement.

If you believe further discussion is needed, please feel free to add a discussion item during today's MAC teleconference to gather some additional insights from the MAC ad-hoc group.

If the MAC ad-hoc group believes that we need to make amendments to the newly announced telco schedules and those discussions lead to an alternative schedule that could replace the currently announced one, then I can send an update for the newly announced telco schedules for the MAC ad-hoc to the reflector.

I know one of reasons why we select 10am for the additional MAC ad-hoc calls is that among the existing other calls, the number of 7pm is more than that of 10am.
However, for the pre-scheduled next calls (May to July), the number of 7pm (8) is less than that of 10am (9).

Thanks for the suggestion.

The 10:00am schedule was chosen to be consistent with the schedules we had for MAC ad-hoc calls scheduled on Fridays, which accounted for member's feedback to have the schedule EU friendly.

Like the existing TGbe conference calls, can we change the start time of some calls (e.g., May 27, June 10, 24, July 1) from 10:00 ET to 19:00 ET?
I don’t think they are conflicted with other TG’s calls.

-          June 17                             (Wednesday) – MAC                                   10:00-13:00 ET
-          June 24                             (Wednesday) – MAC                                   10:00-13:00 ET
-          July 1                                (Wednesday) – MAC                                   10:00-13:00 ET
-          July 8                                (Wednesday) – MAC                                   10:00-13:00 ET

They will appear in the next teleconferences agenda.
