Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBE] MLO TID-to-link mapping SP on 9/15

Thanks Alfred.

@Laurent Cariou does this SP affect your 1256 PDT (tid-to-link mapping). Just confused if this has any implications on ongoing R1 work.

Hello Payam,

This SP came from the remaining items (highlighted in yellow) of the "TGbe spec text volunteers and status". So the SP was asking if having that particular row (and respective motions) in R1. I think there were some brief comments prior to the SP being run but dont recall the details. Perhaps Yongho (POC) may provide some additional details on it.

Regards,

Alfred

Hi Alfred/all,

We ran a straw poll on the 9/15 TGbe call regrading TID-to-link mapping as an R1 feature. From the minutes (https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/documents?is_dcn=1496&is_group=00be&is_options=5),

        SP: Do you support having “MLO-TID mapping/Link” as Basics R1?
        Y/N/A: 79/44/27 --> SP fails.

Could someone explain where this came from? I think I heard a concern about no mechanism/text provide so far. Was that the reason or anything else?

Thanks,
Payam
