Hi Dongguk,

Thanks for sharing the document. Few comments:

  1. “Figure 9-xxx - Trigger Dependent Common Info subfield for the Sensing Trigger variant” is actually shared by both Ranging and Sensing Trigger frames. As such the figure title and associated text should reflect that.

[Dongguk Lim] Since the sensing Trigger variant is defined by using the same value of trigger type subfield for ranging trigger variant, we can consider the reuse of the figure title and associated text described in 11az, however, as you know, the 11drafts( 11be and 11revme) that are based on the 11bf does not include the 11az and we define the sensing Trigger frame newly. So, I think that it is better to keep to the current text, and be merged when 11az and 11bf incorporate the main 11draft.

  1. The format of the Poll TF::User Info seems to be same as Ranging TF-Poll. If so, may be simpler to just say, the format is defined in Fig-xx (reference to Ranging TF Poll:User Info) and not repeat the associated text.

[Dongguk Lim] please see the above

  1. Do we need to signal Measurement ID anywhere in the TFs ?

[Dongguk Lim] I don’t have a strong opinion on that, actually, since in TF sounding, the measurement is perform by AP, I think that it is not necessary. however, I remember that when we discussed the Trigger frame and MS ID, some members said that. and we don’t make any decision for that.

  1. Not all the bits in B12-B25 are reserved in 11az TF-sounding. Not sure why we need to change this for sensing.

[Dongguk Lim] Actually, B21-b23 is used for the indication of I2R rep in 11az, however, in my memory, we don’t have any agreement on the repetition of LTF. thus, in the current phase, I treat this field as the reserved bits and we can modify some bits among the reserved bits after we make a decision for such fields.

Regards,

Dibakar

Dear TTT members,

Thanks for your interest in the topic Trigger

After requesting CIDs related to Trigger, Two CIDs (129, 561 ) were reassigned from Threshold to Trigger

Please check it in the DCN820r3. and since I didn't receive any request for CIDs, so, as I mentioned in the previous email, to resolve those CIDs and to discuss the sensing Trigger frame, all CIDs were assigned to me.

Therefore, I will prepare the initial document for that and if the drafting is finished, I will share it with you first.

Thanks,

Best regards,

Dongguk.

Dear All.

I am sending out this email to call for volunteers for comment resolution for Topic Trigger as described in DCN820r1.

Currently, 14 comments are submitted and all comments mentioned that the Sensing trigger frame should be defined.

So, for the consistent resolution of the above CIDs, I would like to make an initial resolution document to resolve all CIDs.

If you have a different opinion and if you would like to volunteer to resolve the CID, please let me know..

Thanks a lot and should you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Best regards,

Dongguk.
