Hi Yunbo,

I was impressed by your presentation on 26/0046 during the Montreal meeting. However, I’ve identified an issue in your proposed resolution, as illustrated in the figure below:

STA 1 enabling NPCA is in the coverage of both OBSS STA 1 and OBSS STA 2, while OBSS STA 1 and 2 cannot hear each other

• t1: OBSS 1 transmits a PPDU on the NPCA primary channel, and its TXOP ends at t3.

• t2: STA 1 receives OBSS 2 PPDU and TXOP ends at t4

Under your resolution, if OBSS PPDU 1 occupies NPCA primary channel (not the BSS primary channel), the NPCA STA operating on the primary channel will not update its NPCA Basic NAV, and no channel switch occurs for STA 1 at t1. According to current rules, STA 1 will switch at t2 because the NPCA primary channel is idle (not covered by OBSS 2's transmission). However, if STA 1 gains channel access after switching but before t3, it will interfere with OBSS 1's ongoing TXOP.

Additionally, I proposed a complementary resolution in document 26/1492 and attached it to this email.

I would appreciate your feedback and am open to further discussion or collaboration on this topic.

I updated the corresponding text based on Brian's suggestion (just added one reference ( 11.21.15.5.4)).
