Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBP] reminder of SPs in coming TGbp TC on Aug 26

Hi Bo,

Please find the SPs in SP Set #11 amended as follows, based on further discussions. SP10 in this set is deferred.

SP1a

Do you agree to add the following text to TGbp SFD?

  • IEEE 802.11bp allows a non-AP AMP STA to report the transmission time it can sustain.
  • How the non-AP AMP STA may report this time is TBD.

[Reference: 11-25/0788r0, 11-25/1243r0]

SP1b

Do you agree to add the following text to TGbp SFD?

  • IEEE 802.11bp allows a one-time report of the time in other modes of operation, that a non-AP AMP STA can sustain, as a fixed multiplicative factor of the transmission time it can sustain.
  • How the non-AP AMP STA may report these times is TBD.
  • Note:
    • Other modes of operation may include reception, channel sensing, and idle.
    • Idle mode refers to a mode of operation with no RF activity, i.e. the non-AP AMP STA cannot transmit or receive any frames in this mode.

[Reference: 11-25/0788r0, 11-25/1243r0]

SP2

Do you agree to add the following text to TGbp SFD?

  • IEEE 802.11bp defines an AMP SP frame as one type of AMP Frame to carry AMP Service Period information.

[Reference: 11-25/0039r0, 11-25/0285r1, 11-25/0787r0, 11-25/1244r0]

SP3

Do you agree to add the following text to TGbp SFD?

  • The AMP SP Frame carries the SP ID, SP Start Time, SP Interval, and the SP Minimum Wake Duration. The SP ID serves to uniquely identify the AMP Service Period.

[Reference: 11-25/0039r0, 11-25/0285r1, 11-25/0787r0, 11-25/1244r0]

SP4

Do you agree to add the following text to TGbp SFD?

[Reference: 11-25/0039r0, 11-25/0285r1, 11-25/0787r0, 11-25/1244r0]

SP7

Do you agree to add the following text to TGbp SFD?

  • IEEE 802.11bp defines a broadcast AMP frame (name TBD) to carry AMP TSF in the Frame Body. Length of the AMP TSF is TBD. The AMP TSF field carries the partial TSF bits of the AMP AP’s TSF.

[Reference: 11-25/0039r0, 11-25/0285r1, 11-25/0787r0, 11-25/1247r0]

SP8

Do you agree to add the following text to TGbp SFD?

  • The length of the AMP TSF field is greater than 16 bits. The LSB and MSB of the partial TSF is TBD.

[Reference: 11-25/0039r0, 11-25/0285r1, 11-25/0787r0, 11-25/1247r0]

SP10 [Defer]

Do you agree to add the following text to TGbp SFD?

  • IEEE 802.11bp defines AWUR frame as one type of AMP frame with the Frame Body including WUR Frame (excluding FCS).
  • Note: AWUR means Ambient Wake-up Radio

[Reference: 11-25/1246r0]

Thanks and Regards

Ian

Subject: [STDS-802-11-TGBP] reminder of SPs in coming TGbp TC on Aug 26

Hello, all,

This email serves as a reminder of coming TGbp TC on Aug 26, during which we will continue pending SPs listed in 11-25/0990r5.

Each SP Set will have a short slot to recap the background. We will start from the SP11 in SP Set #9 (Rojan). If you have a deferred SP in Jul f2f meeting and want it back to the pending SP list, please re-announce your request to the reflector.

Best Regards,

Bo
