Hi Bo,
Can you please help to update the following SPs in the queue, based on offline feedback:
SFD MAC SP Set #2 (Ian Bajaj)
SP #3: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?
[Postpone to 16th Dec TC]
- The timing granularity of the AMP AP’s partial timestamp carried in a broadcast AMP frame is 64us. The broadcast AMP frame is the SP Advert frame.
[Reference contributions: 11-25/0285r1, 11-25/0787r0, 11-25/1244r0, 11-25/1560r0, 11-25/1561r0]
SP #4: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?
[Postpone to 16th Dec TC]
- The length of the AMP AP’s partial timestamp carried in the SP Advert frame is 24 bits.
[Reference contributions: 11-25/0285r1, 11-25/0787r0, 11-25/1244r0, 11-25/1560r0
, 11-25/1561r0]
SP #5: Do you agree to amend MM-31 in the 11bp SFD ?
[Postpone to 16th Dec TC]
- An AMP AP may transmit the AMP AP's partial timestamp in
a broadcast AMP frame (name TBD) the SP Advert frame. Length of the partial timestamp is
TBD.
[Reference contributions: 11-25/0285r1, 11-25/0787r0, 11-25/1244r0, 11-25/1560r0 , 11-25/1561r0]
SFD MAC SP Set #8 (Ian Bajaj; Nov plenary)
SP #1: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?
[Postpone to 16th Dec TC]
- The AMP DL frame soliciting UL shall indicate the channel number of the 20MHz channel in 2.4GHz for UL active transmission.
[Reference contributions: 11-25/2037r0]
SP #2: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?
[Updated, Ready to run on 9th Dec TC]
- IEEE 802.11bp defines the Operation Status field, to carry the transmission time that the non-AP AMP STA can sustain. The Operation Status field shall be carried in the UL frame transmitted
in response to a request for the Operation Status from the AMP AP.
- An unsolicited report of the Operation Status in response to a unicast AMP Trigger from the AMP AP is TBD.
-
Note: The non-AP AMP STAs that cannot support the reporting of the transmission time it can sustain, are not required to respond to a request for Operation status from the AMP AP.
[Reference contributions: 11-25/0788r0, 11-25/1243r0, 11-25/2038r0]
SP #3: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?
[Updated, Ready to run on 9th Dec TC]
- IEEE 802.11bp defines an Operation Mode Factor field, to carry a fixed multiplicative factor of the reported transmission time, to indicate the time that the non-AP AMP STA can sustain
the idle mode of operation. Other modes of operation are TBD.
- Note: The Operation Mode Factor is meant as a one-time report for a given mode of operation.
- Note: The idle mode refers to a mode of operation with no RF activity, i.e. the non-AP AMP STA cannot transmit or receive any frames in this mode.
[Reference contributions: 11-25/0788r0, 11-25/1243r0, 11-25/2038r0]
Thanks and Regards
Ian

Subject: [STDS-802-11-TGBP] Reminder of TGbp TC on Dec 9
This email serves as a reminder of the coming TGbp TC on Dec 9. A tentative TC agenda has been uploaded to the server for your reference.
In the agenda for TC on Dec 9, there're several items to be conducted:
-
first we will go through the updated SFD based on passed motions in Nov f2f meeting.
-
our editor will give the editor report on the spec draft progress. I have seen sub-clause change requet from Alice and Ian, and there're also some missing sub-clauses to be fulfilled. We
will discuss those sub-clause update together with the editor report.
-
then we will continue pending SPs, starting from SPs those were not conducted due to short of time during Nov f2f, followed by the SPs specifically indicated to postpone to the TC on Dec
9.
-
If all planned SPs are conducted and time still allows, we will go to submission presenting and discussion.
To better manage the TC, I'd like to request the owners of SPs to claim to the reflector whether your postponed/deferred SPs are ready to run in the TC on Dec 9 or
any other TCs. Thank you!
