[STDS-802-11-TGBP] Feedback on 0058r0
Hello Sebastian,
I have missed the opportunity to provide comments on your contribution 0058r0, so I am using the reflector for that.
I have concerns on the reliability and availability of the power measurement as per the SP text definition of success and failed frame exchanges.

As far as I know, the receiver can work with an AGC that can hinder such measurement useless (constantly indicating success frame exchange) in case strong signal is present (e.g. in different channel).

Unlike higher modulations like 64QAM, the SNR for successfully demodulating AMP-UL messages, as reported in e.g. 11-25/1215r1 slide 7, can be very low, below -7-9dB. Such low SNR makes defining such threshold which will provide
effective indication rather challenging.

The actual noise level in the AMP-AP depends on several factors, like temperature or supplies. I am not sure what are the stability assumptions that can be used for that.
