Subject: SP regarding one-shot communiation
Hi Guy, Hui, Rojan, Amichai, and all,
Thanks for your comments on the contribution regarding one-shot communication. The comments were mostly on the technical aspects and procedure itself, which we can further discuss. From a use case perspective, I would like to get an agreement of defining such use case in bp. My proposed SP is as follows:
Do you agree to add the following text in the TGbp SFD
11bp supports secure one-shot communication between the AMP AP and STAs without requiring a discovery and/or association phase.
A DL PPDU with UL access information and parameters for security procedure. An UL PPDU with protected UL response. A DL Ack that acknowledges the UL PPDU has been successfully received and decoded.
There is no Ack if the PPDU was not received nor decoded.Note:
such one-shot communication still follows the baseline security mechanism in MM-17/Motion #64 The above does not apply to mono-static backscatter non-AP AMP STAs.
Let me what do you think.
Thanks,Sam
