[STDS-802-11-TGBP] SFD SP request

Hi Bo,

After some offline discussion I would like to modify SFD MAC SP Set #24 as follows:

  • 11bp supports communication between the AMP AP and STAs that without requiring a discovery and/or association phase.
      • An AMP DL PPDU with UL access information.
      • An AMP UL PPDU with UL response.
      • An AMP DL Ack acknowledges that the AMP UL PPDU was successfully received.
        • There is no Ack if the AMP UL PPDU was not received.
  • Note:
    • Whether security is applied to the UL response is TBD.
    • Content of the UL response is TBD.
    • The above does not apply to mono-static backscatter non-AP AMP STAs.

Thanks,
Sam

Subject: [STDS-802-11-TGBP] SFD SP request

Hi Bo,

Please make the following changes to my SPs

SFD MAC SP Set #21

SP #2: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?

IEEE 802.11bp defines unified MLME SAP primitives generated by a SME for an AMP STA to setup, initiate, and update WPT on non-collocated vendor specific AMP Energizers.

[Reference: 11-26/0303r2]

SFD MACPHY SP Set #21

SP #3: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?

·       The IEEE 802.11bp amendment shall include the aSIFSTime = 10 µs in the PHY definition.

[Reference: 11-26/0540r2]

SP #4: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?

·       For immediate response of the AMP non-AP STA, unless TBD conditions, the AMP AP shall provide padding in the DL AMP PPDU that carry the AMP frame that solicits the immediate response

[Reference: 11-26/0540r2]

SP #5: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?

·       For immediate response of the AMP non-AP STA, unless TBD conditions, the AMP AP shall provide different padding for protected and unprotected AMP frame that solicits the immediate response

[Reference: 11-26/0540r2]

SP #6: Do you agree to add the following text into the 11bp SFD ?

·       For immediate response of the AMP non-AP STA, unless TBD condition, the AMP AP default padding is equal to (40 +/–TBD) μs for a protected AMP frame that solicits the immediate response and (25+/–TBD) μs for an unprotected AMP frame that solicits the immediate response

[Reference: 11-26/0540r2]
