Hi Bo,

Please help to update the following SPs in MAC SP Set #38.

SP2

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

  • The MAC Header of Active Tx and bistatic backscatter AMP frames shall include the following fields:
    • Frame Control
    • Receiver ID
    • Transmitter ID
    • Type Dependent Control
    • Length
  • The presence of other fields, if any, is TBD.

[Reference: 11-26/1148r0]

SP3

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

  • The Slot Sync Present field in the AMP DL frame soliciting UL (e.g. AMP Trigger frame, AMP SP Advert frame) when set to 1 indicates that the AMP AP will transmit the AMP ACK frame to indicate the start of slots for multi-slot channel access.
  • The AMP ACK Sync frame is the AMP frame in MM-46, used to indicate the start of the second or subsequent slot.
  • The Slot Sync Present field shall be set to 0 for bistatic backscatter AMP frames.

[Reference: 11-26/1148r0]

SP4

q  Do you agree to amend MM-46 in the 802.11bp SFD?

  • During a multi-slot uplink access TXOP for Active Tx non-AP AMP STAs, if the Slot Sync Present field is set to 1 in the AMP frame of the AMP DL PPDU soliciting the UL AMP PPDU(s) (e.g. AMP Trigger frame, AMP SP Advert frame), the AMP AP shall transmit a DL AMP PPDU carrying an AMP frame to indicate the start of the second or subsequent time-slot.
  • If the Slot Sync Present field is set to 1 in the AMP frame of the AMP DL PPDU soliciting UL AMP PPDU(s), Aan Active Tx non- AP AMP STA eligible to transmit in a time slot other than the first slot, transmits its UL AMP PPDU at the end of the applicable IFS from the end of the DL AMP PPDU.
  • Note – the content of the AMP frame is TBD.

[Reference: 11-26/1148r0]

SP5

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

  • The Receiver ID field in the Frame Control field in the AMP ACK frame is set to the identifier of the non-AP AMP STA whose UL was successfully received by the AMP AP in the previous UL slot. When the AMP ACK frame is used to indicate the start of a slot and no UL frame was successfully received by the AMP AP in the previous UL slot, the Receiver ID field in the AMP ACK frame is set to a broadcast identifier (e.g. all ones).

[Reference: 11-26/1148r0]

SP6

q  Do you agree to amend PM-94 in the 802.11bp SFD?

  • IEEE 802.11bp defines an operation of an AMP AP with the center frequency of the UL signal from an active non-AP AMP STA located in the center of a 20 MHz channel for all data rates.
  • IEEE 802.11bp defines an operation of an AMP AP with the center frequency of the UL signal from an active non-AP AMP STA not located in the center of a 20 MHz channel for 250kbps and 1Mbps.
  • When the UL signal is not located in the center of the 20 MHz channel, it is located in either -5 MHz or +5 MHz relative to the center frequency of the 20 MHz channel.
  • The support of this operation is optional for AMP AP STA and non-AP AMP STA.

SP7

q  Do you agree to amend PM-101 in the 802.11bp SFD?

  • A bistatic backscatter non-AP AMP STA determines the start time of the first UL slot, as the end time of the received AMP DL PPDU soliciting the UL PPDU, plus a delay time.
  • The delay time is the time period from the end of the AMP DL PPDU soliciting the UL PPDU till the start of the excitation BST-Excitation field in the AMP DL Type 4 PPDU.
  • Note: The delay time may be fixed for a fixed size AMP frame in the AMP DL Type 4 PPDU.
  • Note: The indication of the delay time being implicit or explicit is TBDis indicated in the AMP DL PPDU soliciting the UL PPDU.

Subject: [STDS-802-11-TGBP] agenda for TGbp TC on Jun 30 and call for pdt straw polls

Hello, all,

A tentative agenda for coming TGbp TC on Jun 30 is included in 11-26/1112r5 and the TG SP dec doc is alos updated as in 11-25/1692r33.

There's a PDT SP slot arranged in coming TC. I'd like to call for pdt SPs on PDT proposals which have been discussed in past meeting with no controversial comment received.

Meanwhile, we still have lots of PDT SPs. Some of those SPs were discussed and deferred without specific plan when to bring them back. I'd like to remind the owners of those pending SPs without specific plan to harmonize the SP text offline and let me know when you plan to bring those SPs back to the agenda. Thanks!

Best Regards,

Bo
