Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBT] LB297  CR for editorial comments on 802.11bt D1.0

Hi  Hyung-Nam,

Thanks for your comment.

Regarding your first comment, they are missing indeed. I add the CR for them now.

For the second comment, I'm OK to check all of them and change to small letters.

For the third point, I will go with option 1. The CRs for 169, 205, 565, 721, 728 are updated accordingly.

For the last point,   CID 336 is reassigned to Stephen now.

All of them are shown in R1 (https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/26/11-26-1846-01-00bt-lb297-cr-for-editorial-comments.xlsx). Please check.

Welcome any further insight.

Thanks

Best Regards

Jay Yang (杨志杰)

Dear Jay,

thank you for your efforts for addressing the editorial comments. After review, please find below some comments from my side for your consideration:

1.      Comment resolution for the CIDs 439, 440 and 542 is missing.
2.      CID 434: to be consistent shouldn’t the definition be set to lowercase letters (“ML-KEM Module-Lattice-Based Key-Encapsulation Mechanism”)?
3.      Comment resolution for the CIDs 169, 205, 565, 721, 728: all 5 CIDs related to clause 10.28.15, page# 29, line# 36 were accepted but they result in different  options, see below. Please check which option you want to accept.

From:
To:

  • Option 1: “A STA that sets Extended Length Element Support to 1 and encounters an unknown or reserved Extended Length Element ID shall ignore ...”
  • Option 2: “A STA that sets Extended Length Element Support set to 1 that encounters an unknown or reserved ...”
  • Option 3: “A STA with Extended Length Element Support set to 1 that encounters an unknown or reserved ...”

In this context there is another CID 336 that was assigned to you and where it is proposed to add the word “field” in the concerned paragraph, see below. You may have  missed it.

336
Hyung-Nam Choi
No
10.28.15

10.28.15

In the sentence the words "field", "and" are missing.
Correct the sentence as follows: "A STA that sets Extended Length Element Support field to 1 and encounters an unknown ..."

Hi All,

The approximately 122 editorial comments assigned to me have been addressed in https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/26/11-26-1846-00-00bt-lb297-cr-for-editorial-comments.xlsx.

As usual, to save time, I do not plan to discuss them one by one during the session. Instead, I still count on members to review them offline.

Please take a look, and send me an email if any issues are found.
