--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Task Group M Technical Reflector ---
We discussed CID 1341 and 1342 today and marked 1341 ready for motion
while assigning 1342 to me for additional work. Could we please
reassign 1341 to me as well and revert it from being ready for motion?
I had not realized that these are in the description of the
Authenticator state machine for the rules when the EAPOLKeyReceived
variable is set to true. Most of the text in that location does not
belong here and the parts related to these two comments is completely
wrong since there is no key index being indicated at all in EAPOL-Key
frames that an Authenticator would process. In other words, the
referenced text needs to be deleted instead of the should-to-shall
change.
The only thing that is actually of importance here is that the state
machine assume this variable is set to true only if the replay counter
in the received frame is valid. That only relevant item is completely
missing here and I can fix that while addressing these comments.
