Re: [802.3_B400G] 23 February Electrical ad hoc webpage update - agenda and AUI C2M presentation loaded

Dear Colleagues,

The agenda and the AUI C2M presentation are now loaded.  (see: https://www.ieee802.org/3/dj/public/adhoc/electrical/index.html)   Please accept my apologies for the delayed posting, as I am blessed with a new PC this week and I’ve had many opportunities to learn new ways to do old things.  😊

Also note:  in my haste to load the shakiba and mellitz presentations, I mangled the filename names on the server.  I’ve updated the filenames and the links on the website to follow the convention that the TF Chair uses.  No content changes, only file naming convention changes.
       mellitz_3dj_elect_01_230223.pdf      is now          mellitz_3dj_elec_01_230223.pdf
        shakiba_3dj_01_230223.pdf         is now                shakiba_3dj_elec_01_230223.pdf

I will conduct straw polls in the meeting to test the group’s consensus on the MLSE and AUI C2M topics.

With regards,
-Kent

Subject: 23 February Electrical ad hoc webpage update - technical presentations uploaded

Dear Colleagues,

The technical presentations for the 23 February P802.3dj electrical ad hoc are now posted to the website.  (see: https://www.ieee802.org/3/dj/public/adhoc/electrical/index.html)  Thank you to Hossein Shakiba and Rich Mellitz for their contributions.

The tentative agenda is (subject to refinement):

********   Note:  Participants are expected to review Hossein Shakiba’s prior contributions on the MLSE topic.  (see: https://www.ieee802.org/3/df/public/22_11/shakiba_3df_01a_2211.pdf and  https://www.ieee802.org/3/dj/public/23_01/23_0116/shakiba_3dj_01_230116.pdf)    He will not be repeating these presentations;  he will provide a brief recap of the material for the purpose of holding Q&A and assessing consensus through straw polls.  Participants without familiarity on the topic will be strongly encouraged to follow up offline with Mr. Shakiba.

No formal decisions (i.e. motions) will be made at the ad hoc meeting.  However, I will conduct straw polls in the meeting to test the group’s consensus on certain topics.

I want to remind all teleconference meeting participants to review the following documents prior to participation in an IEEE 802.3 meeting teleconference:
        - IEEE SA patent policy
        - IEEE SA Copyright Policy
        - IEEE SA Participation Policy

All of these policies may be found at http://ieee802.org/3/policies.html

With regards,
-Kent
