Dear 802.3dj TF Participants,
The presentation proposing Functional Rx / FEC code word mask limit has been updated to fix math mistakes and for better readability. If you downloaded the previous version, please discard it.
The Author Team is now working on an appendix with comment resolution language for a post-deadline presentation.
We would also request TF Participant support of the direction of adding a Functional Rx / FEC code word mask to the standard. We understand that the proposal may be refined in subsequent drafts, but it's important to get the framwork incorporated.
Please send me an email, if you would like to be listed as a supporter.
We will note that the support is directional for the main body of the presentation, and does not apply to the Appendix with comment resolution language.
Thank you
Chris
