[802.3_OMEGA] IEEE 802.3 working group update teleconference

Colleagues:

I mistakenly assumed you all would know how to find the reflector archives.

1. For the Dialog reflector, from the 802.3 home page (www.ieee802.org/3), under the bullet "Additional information:” there is a link "• IEEE 802.3 Working Group Dialog Reflector”. That link takes you to a page that includes a link to the archive, and a link to instructions for subscribing to the reflector. The Dialog reflector for example is the proper place to discuss any motions that 802.3 is considering (for example, the current motion to suspend some rules to allow efficient progression of business with the March plenary session having been cancelled.

2. The 802.3 reflector is for announcements of ballots and similar WG business. This reflector includes voting members (have met attendance requirements and requested membership at an 802.3 WG meeting) and observers (have not become a voting member but have attended a recent 802.3 WG meeting). Its archive is found from the 802.3 home page (www.ieee802.org/3) under the bullet "Additional information” where there is a link "• IEEE 802.3 Private area (password-protected).” You will need the username and password provided at 802.3 meetings to get access to the private area. Clicking on the link takes you to a page where there is a link to the archive.

I hope this is helpful to those less familiar with the IEEE 802.3 web pages.
