[802.3_SPEP2P] [802.3de] IEEE P802.3de Time Synchronisation for Point-to-Point Single Pair Ethernet initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results



Dear Colleagues,

 

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot on the amendment IEEE P802.3de Time Synchronisation for Point-to-Point Single Pair Ethernet closed successfully on 22nd December 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The January 2022 IEEE P802.3de Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 64 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3de Task Force reflector.

 

The ballot statistics are:

 

248 Voters

134 Approve

   4 Disapprove

  27 Abstain

165 Ballots returned

 

  66% Response Rate (> 50% required)

  16% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)

  97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
