Dear Colleagues,

The initial Standards Association ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3de Time Synchronization for Point-to-Point Single Pair Ethernet closed successfully on 23rd April 2022. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 17 May 2022 IEEE P802.3de Task Force interim meeting <https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 11 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The comment database is available at <https://www.ieee802.org/3/de/comments/index.html>.

The ballot statistics are:

  93 Voters
  69 Approve
   1 Disapprove 
   1 Abstain
  71 Ballots returned

  76% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   1% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  98% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
