[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Maintenance #16 (Revision) initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot of the revision IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Maintenance #16 (Revision) closed successfully on 21st August 2021. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The upcoming IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) comment resolution meetings <https://listserv.ieee.org/cgi-bin/wa?A2=STDS-802-3-MAINT;a7f0a8b3.21> will consider the 219 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Task Force reflector.

An additional 11 comments were received after the ballot closed, these comments will be marked as 'late' in the comment report and will be considered by the IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3dc) Task Force if, based on a vote if necessary, there is no objection to do so.

The ballot statistics are:

 225 Voters
 127 Approve
  12 Disapprove 
  18 Abstain
 157 Ballots returned

  69% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  11% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  91% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
