[802.3_DIALOG] Updated IEEE P802.3dt - IEEE 802.3 November 2026 plenary session announcement - Registration Fee Required

The IEEE P802.3dt Task Force will be in comment resolution on comments received on the 2nd Task Force review of IEEE P802.3dt draft D1.1 that will close before the meeting. The IEEE P802.3dt draft D1.1 will also be submitted for Working Group preview in preparation for a request to proceed to Working Group ballot.

The Task Force has also developed and approved a draft IEEE P802.3dt PAR modification. The project scope is expanded to include the transfer of per-packet metadata in the SFD field, in addition to the preamble field. The SFD field was included in the original Study Group proposal but was inadvertently omitted during review prior to PAR submission. This modification restores the Study Group's original intent. 

The draft PAR modification is pending IEEE 802.3 Working Group approval at this meeting before seeking approval of both the PAR modification and unmodified CSD responses by the IEEE 802 LMSC. The PAR modification and unmodified CSD responses can be accessed as follows:
