Dear Colleagues,
The 3rd Standards Association recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3dj 200 Gb/s, 400 Gb/s, 800 Gb/s, and 1.6 Tb/s Ethernet closed successfully on 10th October 2026. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft.
The 14 October 2026 IEEE P802.3dj Task Force Meeting <https://www.ieee802.org/3/B400G/email/msg02004.html> will consider the 8 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database has been announced on the IEEE P802.3dj Task Force reflector.
The ballot statistics are:

3 Abstain
139 Ballots returned
87% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
2% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
