[802-LMSC] Transfer document responsibilities from Hibernating Working Groups
All
The IEEE 802.15 Working Group has already successfully hosted two projects from our hibernating Working Groups, IEEE 802.16t, 802.22 revision and 802.22.3.
According to our IEEE 802 LMSC Policies and Procedures: "After all standards, recommended practices, and technical reports for which a hibernating Working Group is responsible are withdrawn or transferred to another group or groups, a Standards Committee electronic ballot of 30 days minimum duration shall be conducted to determine whether the hibernating Working Group is to be disbanded."
As such, I have asked for a mover and a seconder for the following three motions to be placed on the consent agenda for the September 2 teleconference:
The IEEE 802 LMSC transfers all of the standards, recommended practices and technical reports from IEEE 802.16 Working Group (hibernating) to the IEEE 802.15 Working Group.
The IEEE 802 LMSC transfers all of the standards, recommended practices and technical reports from IEEE 802.21 Working Group (hibernating) to the IEEE 802.15 Working Group.
The IEEE 802 LMSC transfers all of the standards, recommended practices and technical reports from IEEE 802.22 Working Group (hibernating) to the IEEE 802.15 Working Group.
I would like to begin discussion on the reflector as it would have the widest possible input and if necessary, with time on the teleconference (if someone pulls it off the consent agenda).
The purpose of the motions is to make sure that we have properly transferred responsibilities for the documents.
