[802-LMSC] IEEE P802.3dj PAR extension request

In support of subclause 9.2 'IEEE 802 LMSC Approval' of the IEEE 802 LMSC Operations Manual, please find below the required information with respect to the IEEE P802.3dj Standard for Ethernet Amendment: Media Access Control Parameters for 1.6 Tb/s and Physical Layers and Management Parameters for 200 Gb/s, 400 Gb/s, 800 Gb/s, and 1.6 Tb/s Operation draft PAR extension request for consideration at the July 2026 plenary under the 'Expedited Review process' (aka the 48-hour rule).

[2] Explanatory technical background material:
The IEEE P802.3dj project is currently resolving comments received during the 1st Standards Association recirculation ballot. It plans to conduct two more recirculation ballots before submitting the draft for consideration at the December 2026 RevCom meeting. This extension request is a precautionary measure to address unforeseen issues or events that could disrupt the project's progress, potentially extending it beyond the current PAR expiration date.
[3] Status of the development of the PAR:
The draft PAR extension request is pending approval by the IEEE 802.3 Working Group at the 16 July 2026 IEEE 802.3 closing plenary meeting.
