[802-LMSC] +++LMSC Motion+++ Approval of submission to Japan MIC's consultation on Frequency Reorganization Action Plan

Dear 802 LMSC members,

With this email I would like to announce the start of a LMSC ballot on Japan MIC's consultation on their Frequency Reorganization Action Plan.

James has delegated to me to conduct an LMSC 10-day electronic ballot on the motion below to approve the comments to the administration. This EC motion is per IEEE 802 OM 7.2.1 Procedure, P&P 7.1 b) (majority response) and P&P 7.1.2 (2/3 approval of votes cast) for communication with government bodies and public statements. With that we would like to see everyone respond.

Dear IEEE 802 LMSC members,

I would like to request the review of the following draft IEEE 802 LMSC submission before asking the LMSC to consider approval of the submission tentatively via a letter ballot in the near future.

On 18th September 2026, Japan's MIC began a consultation on their Frequency Reallocation Action Plan (FY2026 edition).

A few individuals prepared a response to MIC's consultation. The submission was approved by IEEE 802.18 on 8th October 2026 with the following voting results: 13 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstain.

(Note - The quoted text to note the relevant sections is direct translations and are added for member's benefit. They will be reduced in the form of "X...Y" or removed in the final submission as per the MIC submission guidelines)
