FW: Sharing of OPNET model source in RPRSG
All,
I'd like to draw your attention to the fact we're running our simulations
using Workbench and not Opnet. I just want to make sure that there is no
implicit assumption that we all HAVE to use Opnet. Nothing against it,
but we happen not to be using it. I guess we need to establish the
performance parameters, scenarios to run, but not the modeling tool.

Subject: Sharing of OPNET model source in RPRSG
Hi all,
I believe many of us are evaluating various proposals put forward to the
RPRSG (perhaps using OPNET modeler platform). May I suggest that we share
the model source code on a common website? I remember Taylor Salman of Opnet
Technology (tsalman@xxxxxxxx) once suggested the idea. The releasing the
model source doe will enable us to understand the dynamic behavior of each
protocol more thoroughly (in different application scenarios). Moving
forward, this should help us to make knowledgeable decisions in the RPR
study/work group.
Cheers,
