Re: Draft 2 of Press Release
Mike, you did an excellent job of incorporating suggested changes into Draft
2 of the press Release. It needs to focus on areas of agreement, while
getting our story out. That is exactly what it does.
All, if you have further suggested changes, please focus on
non-controversial improvements.
Now, let's discuss the voting process. For SEC electronic ballots you may
vote more than once and only your final vote is counted. That allows
someone to change their vote based on comments that came in after the
initial vote was cast. I assume that we will be operating under that
procedure. Mike, please confirm.
We will need to formalize our 802.17 electronic balloting procedures. This
electronic ballot is being done by the study group since 802.17 will not be
official until the IEEE Standards Board approves us.
