[RPRWG] Re: [IP-Optical] IP over DCC

Joe,
Please see ITU-T Recommendation G.7712/Y.1703, "Architecture and Specification of Data
Communication Network", just approved from the October 2001 meeting of ITU-T Study
Group 15. If you are not an ITU-T member, this Recommendation was the subject
of a communication from ITU-T to IETF ccamp, and can be obtained through the "ccamp"
links from:
ftp://sg15opticalt:otxchange@xxxxxxxxxxx/tsg15opticaltransport/COMMUNICATIONS/index.html
This new Recommendation deals with use of IP only, OSI only, and mixed IP/OSI data
communications networks. This should be relevant to SONET, as SONET is one of the
regional flavors of SDH.
Regards,
Steve Trowbridge
Vice-Chair, ITU-T Study Group 15
