[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3.2 (IEEE 802.3.2a) Ethernet YANG Data Model Definitions (revision) initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The initial IEEE 802.3 Working Group ballot of IEEE P802.3.2 (IEEE 802.3.2a) Ethernet YANG Data Model Definitions (revision) closed successfully on 20th December 2023. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 24 January 2024 joint IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b)/ IEEE P802.3.2 (IEEE 802.3.2a) Task Force Meeting <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 152 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE 802.3 Maintenance reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 269 Voters
 101 Approve
   3 Disapprove 
  35 Abstain
 139 Ballots returned

  51% Response Rate (> 50% required)
  25% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  97% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
