[802SEC] EC ballot electronic results - IEEE P802.3br, IEEE 802.3bt, IEEE P802.3bu PARs and NGEPON Industry Connection press release

Dear EC members,

In respect to the IEEE P802.3br, IEEE 802.3bt, IEEE P802.3bu PARs and NGEPON Industry Connection press release 10 day EC ballot, I'm announcing that sufficient ballots have been received to decide the matter and the ballot has passed. The results are detailed in the table below. I received 1 comment and I've attached an updated draft (IEEE-SA_802 3PARsICAID_release_v2.3.pdf) as well as a diff (IEEE-SA_802 3PARsICAID_release_v2.3_CB.pdf) to show the changes made in respect to this comment. Details of the comment are recorded below.

Based on these results I'll go ahead and ask the IEEE-SA to issue the release.

Roger comment:

[1] Rather than "announced approval of three new standards-development projects," I would personally prefer "announced initiation of three new standards-development projects," or "announced authorization of three new standards-development projects." I think it's best to restrict the word "approval" to cases of approval of the standard, simply to avoid confusion by people who don't know the process.

REPONSE: Please see the attached updated draft, I've change this text to read 'announced initiation of three new standards-development projects'.
