Hi Yongho,
Thanks.
In your update, the paragraph of the default mode and parameterized mode is removed. My understanding is that it is nothing to do with option1 and option 2.
Best Regards,
Liwen

Hi Liwen,
Thanks for your hard work.
You stated that Option 1 and Option 2 were removed.
But, I still see some paragraphs of Option 1 and Option 2 are there.
As just one of several instances,
In Option 1,
A DPS mobile AP may use the Operating Mode Notification frame and the OM Control field to update its operating bandwidth and Nss to be same as the bandwidth and Nss in its LC Mode Bandwidth field and LC Mode Nss field.
In Option 2,
A DPS mobile AP that set the ICF Required field to 0 may use the Operating Mode Notification frame and the OM Control field to update its operating bandwidth and Nss to be same as the bandwidth and Nss in its LC Mode Bandwidth field and LC Mode Nss field.
In your revision, you add the following revised wording. But, this is still debatable since this is needed only if the ICF Required field is set to 0.
A mobile AP shall use the Operating Mode Notification frame or the OM Control field to update its operating bandwidth and Nss to be same as the bandwidth and Nss in its LC Mode Bandwidth field and LC Mode Nss field before enabling the DPS mode.
It seems that you pick the common parts of Option 1 and Option 2. But, in such a case, eventually, the remaining part becomes a subset of Option 1.
If your intention is to first resolve non-debatable parts, I suggest removing all texts in the Option 1 and Option 2 brackets. Please see the revised version.
Thanks,
Yongho

Hi all,
I made the following major changes per today’s SP and the offline discussions:
1, removing option 1 and option 2 in subclause 37.9.1.2 (DPS operation for mobile APs)
2, adding optional MU-RTS with Remain In LC Mode field as ICF where the DPS STA doesn’t need to transmit to the HC mode if the Remain In LC Mode field in MU-RTS is equal to 1.
3, adding optional feature that a DPS mobile AP can stay in HC mode until the next TBTT.
Best Regards,
Liwen

Hi all,
I made the following changes per the comments received in ad hoc meeting:
1, adding Default Mode field in DPS Operation Parameters field.
2, adding resolution of CID 2131.
3, ICF selection rules with/without DUO under DPS.
If you have comments, please let me know.
Best Regards,
Liwen
