Hi Liwen,
Thank you for sharing the updated version of the document. I want to clarify the LC mode parameters used for SU PPDUs, MU PPDUs and TB PPDUs. For SU PPDU, constraints are placed on the PPDU itself, while for MU PPDU and TB PPDU,
constraints are placed on the allocated RUs.
Please modify the following text on page 28
From:
If the Remain In LC Mode field of the MU-RTS Trigger frame is equal to 1, then the DPS assisting AP:
-
shall ensure that the frame exchange(s) that is initiated by the transmission of this frame is using parameters that are compliant with the non-AP STA’s LC mode capabilities.
To:
If the Remain In LC Mode field of the MU-RTS Trigger frame is equal to 1, then the DPS assisting AP:
·
shall ensure that all SU PPDUs transmitted to the DPS non-AP STA and RUs allocated to the DPS non-AP STA within MU PPDUs and TB PPDUs, that is initiated by the transmission of this frame, do not exceed the values of the LC
mode bandwidth, the LC mode Nss, the LC mode MCS in the DPS operation parameters of the DPS non-AP STA
[Liwen] Sometimes the LC mode is not restricted by the LC mode bandwidth, the LC mode Nss, the LC mode MCS, e.g. when the default mode is allowed in LC mode.
[Kiseon] What about the following text?
· shall
ensure that all SU PPDUs transmitted to the DPS non-AP STA and RUs allocated to the DPS non-AP STA within MU PPDUs and TB PPDUs, that is initiated by the transmission of this frame, do not exceed the values of the LC mode parameters in the DPS operation parameters
of the DPS non-AP STA in parameterized mode or the default mode parameters of the DPS non-AP STA in default mode.
Thank you,
Kiseon
Hi all,
I made the following major changes per today’s SP and the offline discussions:
1, removing option 1 and option 2 in subclause 37.9.1.2 (DPS operation for mobile APs)
2, adding optional MU-RTS with Remain In LC Mode field as ICF where the DPS STA doesn’t need to transmit to the HC mode if the Remain In LC Mode field in MU-RTS is equal to 1.
3, adding optional feature that a DPS mobile AP can stay in HC mode until the next TBTT.
Best Regards,
Liwen
Hi all,
I made the following changes per the comments received in ad hoc meeting:
1, adding Default Mode field in DPS Operation Parameters field.
2, adding resolution of CID 2131.
3, ICF selection rules with/without DUO under DPS.
If you have comments, please let me know.
Best Regards,
Liwen
