Hi Ian,

Thanks for your PDT documents.

For 25/2355r5, I have some clarification questions.

At the last paragraph :

An Active Tx non-AP AMP STA that enters the awake state at the start of an AMP SP, shall remain in the awake state for at least the SP Minimum Wake Duration for that AMP SP if the Active Tx non-AP AMP STA has the energy to do so, after which the Active Tx non-AP AMP STA may enter the doze state if it does not receive any AMP DL PPDU from the intended AMP AP. The Active Tx non-AP AMP STA should enter the awake state at the start of the subsequent AMP SP, which begins after an SP Interval from the start time of the previous AMP SP with the same SP ID.

1.      The current description seems to only apply to Active Tx non-AP AMP STAs that perform the enter action at the start of the AMP SP, and does not cover those who have already been in awake state prior to the start of the AMP SP. Is that the intention?

[IB] – That’s a valid point. I can amend the text to clarify for an Active Tx non-AP AMP STA that enters the awake state or are in the awake state at the start of an AMP SP… I have uploaded a r7 to capture this.

2.      What is the rule for the STAs that do not have sufficient energy? Current text seems to allow these STAs freely transition from awake to doze state at any time (no restrictions on the cases that do not satisfy the if condition).

[IB] – In hindsight, I have removed the if condition, and reverted to the original text in D0.2 to recommend awake state (“should remain”, see r7). It is understood if the AMP STA is out of energy it cannot maintain the recommended power state transitions.

Hi TTT members,

Please help review the following two PDTs uploaded to mentor. I have tried to incorporate all the comments received for both the PDTs.

Hi Bo,

Please add the following PDT SPs to the queue:

PDT-SP3: Do you agree to incorporate the proposed draft text in document 11-25/2355r5 into the next version of the 11bp draft?

PDT-SP4: Do you agree to incorporate the proposed draft text in document 11-26/0214r1 into the next version of the 11bp draft?

Thanks and Regards

Ian
