Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBP] call for Straw Poll requests

Hi Bo

Can you add the following two SPs to the queue:

SFD PHY SP

  • In the AMP-SIG field of an AMP DL PPDU for Active Tx/Bi-static Backscatter non-AP AMP STA, when the AMP RX Device Type subfield is set to 1,
the Partial STA-ID field contains a partial STA ID, a group ID or a broadcast ID. The partial STA ID is used to identify a specific active Tx or
bi-static backscatter non-AP AMP STA, which comprises of 6 LSBs of its STA-ID. The group ID is used to identify a specific group of active Tx
non-AP AMP STA or a specific group of bi-static backscatter non-AP AMP STAs. The broadcast ID is used to identify all the active Tx and
bi-static backscatter non-AP AMP STAs. The partial STA ID, group ID and broadcast ID share the same ID space. The broadcast ID is 63 (all 1's).

SFD MAC SP

Informative - which method you prefer:

  1. AP broadcasts E_ID before each energizer session and repeats it for all energizers, the tags report the strongest E_ID
  2. AP broadcasts one frame with all details of the following energizers round, the tags report the strongest E_ID
  3. AP broadcasts measurement command to tags before each energizer session, all tags measure power, AP triggers Inventory
(either assigned or unassigned tags), tags report power if passed TBD threshold (No E_ID, no sync, no comparison of power)
and repeats it for all energizers
  4. No opinion

Thanks

Yaron

Hi Bo,

Could you add following two SPs to queue:

SFD PHY SP:

  • 11bp recommend AMP Energizer to use at least one following high-power channels for WPT transmission in EU:
    • Lower band: channels with center frequency: 865.7MHz, 866.3MHz, 866.9MHz, 867.5MHz, BW: 200kHz
    • Upper band: channels with center frequency: 916.3MHz, 919.9MHz, BW: 400kHz
  • [Ref: 11-26/0131]

PDT SP:

  • Do you agree to incorporate the proposed draft text in document 11-26/0132r0 into the next version of the 11bp draft?

Best,

Panpan

Hi Bo,

Could you please queue the following PHY SPs? Thanks.

SP1: Do you agree to add the following to the 11bp SFD:

4Mbps in AMP UL active transmission in 2.4 GHz is optional

Supporting doc: 11-26/0090r0

SP2: Do you agree to add the following to the 11bp SFD:

The DL AMP-SIG field uses same data rate, chip duration, and Manchester encoding as the AMP-Data field

Supporting doc: 11-26/0091r0

SP3: Do you agree to add the following to the 11bp SFD:

The U-SIG field in DL AMP PPDUs includes the following contents:

BSS Color: set to the BSS Color of the AMP AP

         AMP Version Identifier (1 bit)

Set to 0 to indicate 802.11bp

         Uplink channel indication (2 bits)

Set to 0 to indicate the uplink channel is in the same 20MHz, or there is no following uplink transmission

Set to 1 to indicate the uplink channel is the lower 20MHz channel relative to downlink

Set to 2 to indicate the uplink channel is the upper 20MHz channel relative to downlink

Supporting doc: 11-26/0091r0, 11-25/2070r2

SP4: Do you agree to add the following to the 11bp SFD:

The U-SIG field in DL AMP PPDUs includes the following contents:

Bistatic Exciter transmission flag (1 bit)

Set to 0 to indicate the PPDU is transmitted by an AMP AP

Set to 1 to indicate the PPDU is transmitted by a bistatic exciter

         Bistatic Exciter Identification (TBD bits)

Supporting doc: 11-26/0091r0, 11-25/2070r2

Alice

Hello, all,

Though we still have two meetings in this week, most PDT proposals and tech contributions have been presented and discussed in past meetings. Therefore I'm calling for Straw Polls which will be conducted in the 2nd half of AM1 and 1st half of PM1 on Thursday.

Note:

  1. there's only 5 minutes allocated for each PDT SP since it's believed that those PDT proposals have been well discussed offline among TTT members and the TTT has come to certain consensus on those PDT proposals.
  1. each of the the requested SFD SPs is allocated 5 mins in principle. The SP owner is encouraged to reach out to members and harmonize the SP text offline, especially with those members raising comments or questions during the contribution presentation.
  1. each SP request should clearly indicate whether it's a SFD SP, a PDT SP or just for information collection. A SFD SP request and a PDT SP request should also clearly include the DCNs of reference documents.

BTW, those SP requests that have been sent to the reflector are identified and they don't need to be sent to the reflector again after this email.

Best Regards,

Bo
