I'm curious as to the purpose of the annex, or more specifically, how it would differ from details that would go into our 40.3.4 Overview of the PPDU encoding process. Looking at EHT clause 36.3.7, if we followed that example, our clause would cover the entire
encoding process.
Nelson.
Got it. I am OK with it.
Thank you Yinan for the question.
AFAIK, This annex should be similar to Annex I in 802.11-2024, which provides an example. It is not specifying anything new nor defines any normative behavior.

Hi Amichai,
Isn’t encoding process including scrambling, BCC, etc., already specified in 40.3.4? What additional information will be provided in this annex?
Best regards,
Yinan
Hello Yinan,
Is it possible to add into the next draft an annex
Example of encoding a frame for active TX AMP PHY?
I am also volunteering to be the PoC of this section.
Since this PHY mode contains all bit level functions (scrambling, BCC, Manchester, CRC) —> it is useful and sufficient
for all other modes as well.
Best Regards
Amichai
