Re: [STDS-802-11-TGBP] Update to SPs in queue

Hi Bo,
Please help to update the SPs in queue:

MAC SP Set #40

SP3 (updated)

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

§  The Excitation field duration and the Excitation Tx power are carried in the MU-RTS TXS (TXS Mode = 2) Trigger frame.

§  The RU Allocation field in the User Info field shall be set to one of two values: 61 or 62 (as specified in 9.3.1.22.10, 802.11REVmf D2.2), corresponding to the lower or upper 20MHz channel respectively, that the AMP AP shares with an AMP Energizer for the purpose of transmission of the AMP DL Type 4 PPDU.

[Reference: 11-26/1350r0, 11-26/1351r0]

In case you missed updating SP5 in the same MAC SP set (as emailed earlier), I have copied it below, no change since the last email.

MAC SP Set #40

SP5 (updated)

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

Thanks and Regards

Ian

Hi Bo,
Please help to update the following SPs based on offline discussion:

MAC SP Set #39

SP1 (updated)

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

§  The DL data rate for the AMP DL Type 4 PPDU shall be 1Mbps, when sent for the purpose of excitation for bistatic backscattering operation.

§  Note: This is to maximize the available medium time for the excitation field.

PHY SP Set #39

SP3 (updated)

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

§  In the U-SIG field, when the Bistatic Exciter transmission flag is set to 0, and the AMP mode is set to 1, the Uplink channel field and the Bistatic Exciter Identification field are set to Disregard (reserved).

MAC SP Set #40

SP2b (updated)

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

§  For multi-slot channel access for bistatic backscatter communication, the AMP ACK frame(s) indicating the start of the second or subsequent slot in MM-46 is not supported.

§  802.11bp defines a group acknowledgment frame to acknowledge successful reception of UL AMP PPDU(s) from one or more Bistatic backscatter non-AP AMP STA(s).

§  The AP shall not use a group acknowledgment frame for Active TX operation, and Active TX non-AP AMP STAs are not expected to receive a group acknowledgment frame.

[Reference: 11-26/1350r0, 11-26/1351r0]

SP5 (updated)

q  Do you agree to add the following text to the 802.11bp SFD?

  • The group acknowledgement frame includes at least a Slot Bitmap field, and a field to carry the ID(s) of the one or more AMP STAs to be acknowledged.
  • The Slot Bitmap field is of size TBD bits and indicates the slot numbers in which an AMP UL PPDU was successfully received by the AMP AP.
  • When one or more UL PPDU is successfully received by the AMP AP, the IDs of the AMP STAs included in the Group acknowledgement frame correspond to the 1s in the Slot Bitmap field.
  •  The AMP AP shall not use a group acknowledgment frame for Active TX operation, and Active TX non-AP AMP STAs are not expected to receive a group acknowledgment frame.
