Please help to update my SP#5 in PS MAC SP Set #8 by adding the note in the second bullet. I believe, the changes in the first bullet have already been updated in the last call, if not please help to update as well.

 

SP #5 (revised): Do you agree to the following?

  • The AMP DL frame in FM-42 is an AMP Ack frame transmitted by an AMP AP, and the frame shall include the channel number of the AMP AP’s primary 20 MHz channel and shall AMP AP shall not transmit over the air, a second ID field in the AMP Ack frame to carry the transmitter identifier.
  • Note – this does not preclude the AMP Ack frame including the transmitter identifier (e.g., in the first ID field or hidden in the CRC) or the indication of the AMP AP’s P20 channel.

Kindly help to update SP #1a of PS MAC SP Set #8 as below:

 

SP #1a:

  • For Active Tx and bi-static Backscatter non-AP AMP STAs, the length indication (either the Length of Data Field in the AMP-SIG field or the Frame Body Length field in the MAC Header field) is:
    • If the data rate is 250 Kbps:

•        Field values x= 0 to 31 correspond to (x+1) = 1 to 32 octets, values x= 32 to 47 correspond to 32+2(x-31) = 34 to 64 octets, and values x= 48 to 63 correspond to 64+4(x-47) = 68 to 128 octets

    • If the data rate is 1 or 4 Mbps:

•        Field values x= 0 to 31 correspond to 2(x+1) = 2 to 64 octets, values x= 32 to 47 correspond to 64+4(x-31) = 68 to 128 octets, and values x= 48 to 63 correspond to 128+8(x-47) = 136 to 256 octets

 

I would also like to request to defer SP#2 and SP#3 to a later date; I am working on the corresponding PDT to give the group a sense of the spec change that may be involved to support the 2 SPs.
